Enchanted Children's Festival is a free all-day arts festival aimed at 5-11 year olds on the 1st of June, 2019. We offer high-quality arts engagement with performances, workshops and play. The festival has its roots in the local community of Orpington and works all year round on community engagement projects for local children, educators and artists.
Local charity CASPA x Nicky Hallet, an actress and drama teacher have teamed up through Enchanted Fest to provide theatre workshops for teenagers with autism. We are very excited to see what they come up with. Look out for them on the main stage on June 1.
The festival works to engage children in the arts by employing local and national acts to perform and provide workshops. In 2018 Michael De Souza, author of Rastamouse headlined. Follow us on social media or check out our What's On page to see our line up announcements for 2019.
Play is an important part of developing children's imagination. We offer family yoga, tug-of-war, and sports from MyTime Active. We have a recycled music wall, a crafts area and a workshop stage.
